BOOKING THE SHOW

These shows are available througout the week - afternoons and evenings.

To book a show, you need to contact him first with an indication of the proposed date for the show, and leaving a contact telephone number. Bob will then ring back to establish the following information:

  • What is the date and time for show?
  • Where is the venue for the show?
  • Is it for a special event?
  • What is the likely size of the audience?
  • Which of the shows do you want?
  • How long do you want the performance to last?
  • Is it open to the public? If so, Bob will advertise it as such on the web site.
  • Is there an entrance charge? If so, how much and where can tickets be obtained?
  • Do you want us to email you posters/fliers which you can print?
  • Do you have your own PA system. Press here for details of the PA systen requirements. If not, Bob can bring a portable PA system.
  • Do you have your own piano (acoustic or electric) and stool which can be placed where Bob is to perform? If not he can bring a keyboard.
  • If Bob is to bring any equipment
    • Can you confirm that there is a 13 amp power socket within 5 metres of where Bob is to perform?
    • Do you have your own car-park and can Bob park as close as possible to a suitable door for ease of unloading the equipment?
    • Is there wheelchair access? It is easier if Bob can push the equipment on a trolley from the car park to the performance area.
  • What is the contact name and telephone number and/or email address?

Bob will provide a quote for the price which, if agreed, then becomes fixed - no hidden extras.

A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE SHOW

Bob will telephone/contact you to confirm all the details.

ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW

Bob will arrive between 20 minutes and 2 hours before the performance, depending on how much equipment is to be set up and the need for sound tests. He would like to be able to park the car as near as possible to the venue to allow for unloading equipment.

The equipment consists of piano keyboard, speakers, microphone and music stand.

It will take about 15-30 minutes to set up the equipment and for sound tests. Press here for an illustration of equipment which Bob uses.

When the performance is about to begin the host may want to introduce Bob, but then Bob takes over and performs the full show for the time agreed - you can trust him to stick to the time - no over-runs (unless there is an encore!).

At the conclusion of the show Bob will pack up the equipment (about 10-20 minutes) and it would be helpful if you could settle the financial affairs then, by cheque or cash. We regret we cannot accept credit or debit cards.

Press here for details of terms and conditions of the booking.
